Hello! So, Earlier this month. I keep running into a annoying Fatal crash in FSX Steam Edition that shows no warning or Anything. After Checking the crash logs at the event viewer , I found out it was caused by a api.dll or an API of SIMCONNECT for FSX to be precise. Well, Just like anyone out there. I looked on the internet for a Solution and found dozens of Threads regarding about the API with no solutions. The problem about the API is that it isn't exactly an add-on on the Steam Edition, It comes with the Sim. And I believe that Support for FSX has been long gone since the release of MSFS 2020. So, I spent 2 weeks trying to fix it with no success. Until I decided to get another version of Simconnect. I downloaded this simconnect from FsPassengers website. So far i didn't run into another crash caused by the api.dll. You can download that version of simconnect at FsPassengers or here Can't promise you that this will fix your api.dll issue but mine's running so go
